L'analyse microscopique des γH2AX foyers, qui forment la suite de la phosphorylation de H2AX à Ser-139, en réponse à l'ADN des cassures double brin, est devenu un outil précieux dans la radiobiologie. Ici nous avons utilisé un anticorps mono-méthylé histone H3 lysine à 4 comme un marqueur épigénétique de la transcription euchromatine active, afin d'évaluer la distribution spatiale du rayonnement induit par la formation γH2AX au sein du noyau.
