Análise microscópica de γH2AX focos, que formam após a fosforilação de H2AX em Ser-139 em resposta ao DNA dupla fita-breaks, tornou-se uma ferramenta valiosa na biologia da radiação. Aqui usamos um anticorpo mono-metilado histona H3 em lisina 4 como um marcador epigenético ativamente de eucromatina transcrever, para avaliar a distribuição espacial da radiação induzida por formação γH2AX dentro do núcleo.
