Inleiding: Genitale aandoeningen worden meestal aangetroffen in de kantoren van de huisartsen. Meatal stenose, een abnormale vernauwing van de urethra opening (meatus) is een veel voorkomende complicatie na de besnijdenis die zich in 9% -10% van de mannen. Resultaat: Symptomatische meatal stenose is frustrerend voor het kind en gezin. Indien dit onbehandeld blijft, is er een potentieel voor chronische onvolledige lediging van de blaas, met af en toe de ontwikkeling van infectie van de urinewegen en de daaropvolgende nierschade. surgical management of meatal stenosis with meatoplasty

Meatal stenose is een veel voorkomende urologische complicatie na besnijdenis. Kinderen aanwezig om hun primaire zorg artsen met klachten van afgeweken urinestraal, moeilijk te streven, pijn bij het plassen, en urine-frequentie. Klinisch onderzoek toont een lokaliseren gehoorgang en als het kind wordt gevraagd om te plassen, zal hij meestal een opwaartse, dunne, af en toe krachtig urinestroom met onvolledige legen van de blaas. De steunpilaar van het management is meatoplasty (reconstructie van het distale urethra / meatus). Deze educatieve video zullen aantonen hoe dit wordt uitgevoerd.
