Diacetato de carboxifluoresceína succinimidil ester (CFSE) puede ser utilizada para etiquetar con facilidad y rapidez una población celular de interés para la investigación en vivo. Este etiquetado tradicionalmente se ha utilizado para estudiar la proliferación y migración.
