FT מאפשרת השוואה על פני שיטות אחרות, כגון אקו מאז העיקרון הבסיסי הוא זהה. מסקנה מעקב תכונה יש את הפוטנציאל להיות משולב בעבודה הקלינית שכן הוא מבטל את הצורך של ניתוח זמן רב הליך הרכישה נוספים. FT יכול לשמש לצורך הערכה של זנים החדר השמאלי והימני העולמי סגמנטלי, dyssynchrony החדר השמאלי. מחקרים קליניים נוספים נערכים על מנת להעריך השימושיות של FT בקרדיולוגיה קלינית.

מטרה: שיטה מדויקת ומעשית כדי למדוד פרמטרים כמו זן ברקמת שריר הלב הוא בעל ערך קליני רב, שכן הוכח, כי הלחץ הוא סמן רגיש יותר מוקדם מאשר עבור תפקוד כויץ הפרמטר EF שימוש תכוף. טכנולוגיות נוכחי עבור CMR הם זמן רב וקשה ליישם בפרקטיקה הקלינית. מעקב תכונה היא טכנולוגיה אשר יכול להוביל automization יותר וחוסנם של ניתוח כמותי של תמונות רפואיות עם צריכת פחות זמן מאשר בשיטות דומות. שיטות: הזנה אוטומטית או ידנית בשלב אחד משמש אתחול שממנו המערכת מתחילה לעקוב אחרי עקירה של דפוסי בודדים המייצגים מבנים אנטומיים לאורך זמן. המומחיות של שיטה זו הוא כי התמונות לא צריך לטפל בכל דרך שהיא מראש כמו למשל תיוג תמונות CMR. תוצאות: השיטה מתאימה מאוד למעקב רקמות שרירים עם פירוט זה כמותי המאפשר של שריר הלב וגם את זרימת הדם. מסקנות: זו שיטה חדשה מציעה חיסכון בהליך חזקים הזמן לכמת רקמת שריר הלב בדם ועם פרמטרים, עקירה מהירות דפורמציה על רצפים קבועים של CMR הדמיה. לפיכך ניתן ליישם בפרקטיקה הקלינית.
