peptides from phage display library modulate gene expression in mesenchymal cells and potentiate osteogenesis in unicortical bone defects

שני פפטידים סינתטיים הרומן להאיץ היווצרות העצם ניתן לשלוח באמצעות מטריצת קולגן. מטרת המחקר הנוכחי הייתה לבדוק את ההשפעות על תיקון עצם במודל פגם unicortical. טיפול בתאי mesenchymal המיוצר עלייה בפעילות phosphatase אלקליין, הראה היווצרות גולה על ידי התאים, והגדילה את הביטוי של גנים עבור runx2, osterix, עצם sialoprotein ו osteocalcin. ספוג קולגן ספוגה לתקן קידם פפטיד של פגמים העצם, ואילו השליטה היה פחות יעיל. התוצאות ממחקר זה הראה כי תאים שטופלו mesenchymal פפטיד במבחנה להבדיל כלפי osteogenesis, וכן, כי פפטידים נמסר in vivo באמצעות ספוג קולגן לקדם את תיקון הליקויים unicortical.
