guidelines for elective pediatric fiberoptic intubation

Intubação com fibra óptica em pacientes pediátricos é muitas vezes necessário, especialmente nas vias aéreas difíceis da sindrômica ou seja, pacientes com Síndrome de Pierre Robin. Bebês pequenos desaturate muito rapidamente se a ventilação é interrompido principalmente a alta taxa metabólica. Descrevemos as orientações para realizar uma intubação segura de fibra óptica, mantendo a respiração espontânea durante todo o procedimento. Etapas que requerem o uso de bomba de propofol, fentanil, glicopirrolato, cateter de borracha vermelha, gancho insuflação metal, Afrin, lubrificante e lidocaína spray são mostrados.
