<p class="jove_content" style=";text-align:right;direction:rtl"> אונקולוגיה החזי תוכנית פרוייקט מסד נתונים נוצר כדי לשמש כמאגר, מקיף מאומת, ונגיש עבור היטב המבואר דגימות סרטן נתונים קליניים להיות זמינים לחוקרים במסגרת תוכנית החזה אונקולוגיה המחקר. באתר זה גם לוכדת נפח גדול של נתונים גנומי proteomic המתקבלים ללימודים רקמת הגידול השונים. צוות חוקרים במדע קליני ובסיסי, biostatistician, ומומחה ביואינפורמטיקה כונסה לעצב את מסד הנתונים. משתני עניין הוגדרו בבירור ותיאורים שלהם נכתבו בתוך מדריך הפעלה סטנדרטית על מנת להבטיח עקביות של ביאור נתונים. באמצעות פרוטוקול לבנקאות רקמות פוטנציאליים ועוד פרוטוקול לבנקאות הגידול רטרוספקטיבי, דגימות הרקמות מחולים הסכים הפרוטוקולים הללו נאספו. מידע קליני כגון נתונים דמוגרפיים, אפיון סרטן, תוכניות הטיפול בחולים אלה היו הפשטה ונכנס לתוך מסד הנתונים Access. נתונים proteomic ו גנומית נכללו במסד הנתונים, קושרו מידע קליני בחולים תיאר בתוך מסד הנתונים. הנתונים מהטבלה כל היו קשורים באמצעות הפונקציה יחסים ב-Microsoft Access כדי לאפשר את מנהל מסד הנתונים כדי להתחבר מידע קליניים ומעבדתיים במהלך שאילתה. נתוני שאילתה אז יכול להיות מיוצא לניתוח סטטיסטי הדור השערה. </p>
