Um método é descrito para propagar tumores retinoblastoma humano em camundongos. Células tumorais são diretamente injetadas nos olhos de ratos imune deficiente. Tumores secundários foram estabelecidas com sucesso usando as duas células diretamente colhidas a partir de tumores humanos e tumorspheres cultivadas.
