Küresel Polio Eradikasyon Girişimi, laboratuvar tanısı, akut flask paralizi (AFP) vakalarının dışkı örneklerinden izole edilip tanımlanması PV kritik bir rol oynamaktadır. Dünya Sağlık Örgütü (WHO) Küresel Polio Laboratuvarı Network, PV izolasyon ve tanımlama şu anda sırasıyla hücre kültürü sistemi ve gerçek zamanlı RT-PCR kullanılarak yapılmaktadır. PV-eradikasyonu sonrası çağda, basit ve hızlı bir şekilde tespit işlemleri ulusal laboratuvarlar çocuk felci vakalarının hızlı onay için yararlı olacaktır. Bu çalışmada, biz PV tanımlanması için geliştirilen roman PA testinin prosedürü gösterecektir. Bu PA testi PV reseptör (PVR) molekülü ve PV tüm serotipleri belirli ve düzgün bir benzeşme virion etkileşimi kullanmaktadır. İşlem son derece basittir (reaksiyon plakalar bir adım prosedürü) ve hızlı (sonuçlar reaksiyon 2 saat içinde elde edilebilir), ve sonuç görsel (jelatin parçacıkların aglütinasyon gözlem) görülmektedir.
