<p class="jove_content">Mikrofluidik können mit Standard-Elektrophysiologie-Techniken integriert werden, um neue experimentelle Modalitäten zu ermöglichen. Insbesondere ist die Motivation für die Mikrofluidik Hirnschnitt Gerät einschließlich diskutiert, wie das Gerät dockt an Standard Perfusionskammern und die Technik der passiven Pumpen, die zur Boli von Neuromodulatoren an das Gehirn Scheibe liefern. Durch die Vereinfachung des Gerätes Design, sind wir in der Lage, eine praktische Lösung für den derzeit ungedeckten Elektrophysiologie müssen der Anwendung mehrere Neuromodulatoren über mehrere Regionen des Gehirns Scheibe zu erreichen. Dies wird durch Ersetzen der Standard-Deckglas Substrat der Perfusionskammer mit einer dünnen Mikrofluidikvorrichtung verbunden mit dem Deckglas Substrat erreicht. Dieser wurde dann auf die Perfusionskammer befestigt und kleine Löcher verbinden die offenen Brunnen der Perfusionskammer der mikrofluidischen Kanälen innerhalb der mikrofluidischen Substrat vergraben. Diese mikrofluidischen Kanälen sind über Schnittstellen mit anderen Häfen in den Rand des Perfusionskammer den Zugriff auf und liefern Stimulanzien gebohrt. Dieses Projekt stellt dar, wie auf dem Gebiet der Mikrofluidik ist Übergang vom Proof-of-Concept-Gerät Demonstrationen und in praktische Lösungen für bislang ungelöste experimentellen und klinischen Anforderungen.</p>
