Hedeflenen flüoresan zincirleme mutasyon wild tip farelerde etiketsiz reseptörlerine göre ifade ve reseptör düzenlenmesi normal seviyede üreten, endojen odağı ve onun doğal arttırıcının kontrolü altında dahil edilir. Bu çarpık yaklaşım floresan diğer iyon kanalları etiketlemek için genişletilmiş ve MSS reseptörleri görselleştirilmesi ve nicel güçlü bir yaklaşım sunuyor olabilir.
