Berührungslose retinalen Blutflusses Messungen werden mit einem Fourier Domain Optischen Kohärenztomographie (OCT) System mit einem circumpapillary doppelte runde Scan (CDCS), die um den Sehnerv Kopf 3,40 mm scannt und 3,75 mm Durchmesser durchgeführt. Die doppelten konzentrischen Kreisen 6 mal hintereinander über 2 sec durchgeführt. Die CDCS Scan wird mit Dopplerverschiebung Informationen aus dem Durchfluss berechnet werden gespeichert. Die klinischen Standard-Protokoll fordert 3 CDCS scannt mit der OCT-Strahl durch die superonasal Rand der Pupille und 3 CDCS durch die inferonal Schüler scannen gemacht. Diese Doppel-Winkel-Protokoll stellt sicher, dass annehmbare Doppler-Winkels auf jeder retinalen Zweiggefäß in mindestens ein Scan erhalten. Doppler Oktober ist eine neue Methode, um eine schnelle, berührungslose und wiederholbare Messung der gesamten retinalen Blutflusses führen mit weithin verfügbar Fourier-Domain OCT instrumentation. Diese neue Technologie kann zur Verbesserung der Zweckmäßigkeit der Herstellung dieser Messungen in klinischen Studien und klinische Routine.
