Visualisering individuelle celler i tætpakkede væv, såsom terminale Schwann-celler (SCS) i neuromuskulære junctions (NMJs), er udfordrende. "Sekventiel fotoblegende" tillader afgrænse enkelt terminal SCS, for eksempel i triangularis sterni muskel eksplantation, en bekvem nerve-muskel forberedelse, hvor sekventiel blegning kan kombineres med time-lapse imaging og Post-hoc Immunostainings.
