Intravitale imagerie est devenue un outil indispensable dans la recherche biologique. Dans le processus, les techniques d&#39;imagerie nombreux ont été développés pour étudier différents processus biologiques chez les animaux non-invasive. Cependant, une limitation technique majeur existants modalités d&#39;imagerie intravitale est l&#39;incapacité de combiner non invasive, l&#39;imagerie longitudinale avec des capacités de résolution unicellulaires. Nous montrons ici comment la transplantation dans la chambre antérieure de l&#39;œil contourne cette limitation significative en offrant une plate-forme expérimentale polyvalente qui permet aux non-invasive, l&#39;imagerie longitudinale avec une résolution cellulaire in vivo. Nous démontrons la procédure de transplantation chez la souris et de fournir des résultats représentatifs à l&#39;aide d&#39;un modèle avec pertinence clinique, à savoir transplantation d&#39;îlots pancréatiques. En plus de permettre une visualisation directe dans une variété de tissus transplantés dans la chambre antérieure de l&#39;œil, cette approche fournit une plate-forme d&#39;éboulisn en effectuant des médicaments à long terme de suivi et de surveillance dans les tissus cibles. En raison de sa polyvalence, le tissu / la transplantation de cellules dans la chambre antérieure de l&#39;œil non seulement les thérapies de transplantation avantages, elle s&#39;étend à d&#39;autres applications in vivo pour étudier les processus physiologiques et physiopathologiques tels que la transduction du signal et de cancers ou développer maladie auto-immune.

Il ya quelques paramètres qui définissent une «bonne» la transplantation. Une transplantation bonne est celle qui se déroule sans saignement lors de l&#39;incision comme on peut le voir dans la vidéo.
