assessing cell cycle progression of neural stem and progenitor cells in the mouse developing brain after genotoxic stress

Neuroner i hjernebarken genereres under hjernens udvikling af forskellige typer af neurale stam-og progenitorceller (NSPC), som danner en pseudostratified epitel foring laterale ventrikler i den embryonale hjerne. Genotoksiske belastninger, såsom ioniserende stråling, har meget skadelige virkninger på hjernens udvikling relateret til den høje følsomhed NSPC. Belysning af de cellulære og molekylære mekanismer, der er involveret afhænger karakterisering af DNA beskadigelse respons af disse særlige typer af celler, som kræver en nøjagtig metode til at bestemme NSPC progression gennem cellecyklus i det beskadigede væv.
