a murine model of cervical spinal cord injury to study post-lesional respiratory neuroplasticity

إصابة الحبل الشوكي عنق الرحم يدفع الشلل الدائم، وغالبا ما يؤدي إلى ضيق في التنفس. حتى الآن، لم توضع علاجات فعالة لتحسين / تخفيف من فشل في الجهاز التنفسي بعد الاصابة عالية عنق الرحم الحبل الشوكي (النخاع الشوكي). نحن هنا اقتراح نموذج ما قبل السريرية الفئران من ارتفاع اصابات النخاع الشوكي في 2 (C2) قسامية مستوى عنق الرحم لدراسة المتنوعة المرونة العصبية في الجهاز التنفسي بعد التقرحي. تتكون هذه التقنية من اصابة جزئية الجراحية على مستوى C2، التي من شأنها أن تحفز على فالج؛ شلل شقي من الحجاب الحاجز بسبب إزالة التدفعات الواردة من العصبونات الحركية الحجابي من مراكز الجهاز التنفسي الموجود في جذع الدماغ. على الجانب المقابل من الإصابة لا تزال سليمة ويسمح للانتعاش الحيوان. على عكس المصارف الإنمائية المتخصصة الأخرى التي تؤثر على وظيفة الحركي (في الصدر وأسفل الظهر مستوى)، لا تتطلب وظيفة الجهاز التنفسي الدافع الحيوانية والكمي لعجز / الانتعاش لا يمكن أن يؤديها بسهولة (الحجاب الحاجز وتسجيل العصب الحجابيق، والتهوية الجسم كله). هذا النموذج C2 اصابات النخاع الشوكي ما قبل السريرية هو نموذج ما قبل السريرية قوية ومفيدة وموثوقة لدراسة مختلف الأحداث المرونة العصبية في الجهاز التنفسي وغير الجهاز التنفسي على مختلف المستويات (الجزيئية لعلم وظائف الأعضاء) واختبار الاستراتيجيات العلاجية المفترضة المتنوعة التي قد تؤدي إلى تحسين التنفس في مرضى اصابات النخاع الشوكي.
