L'obiettivo di questa ricerca è stato quello di formare tessuto della parete cellulare vegetale sintetica usando assemblaggio layer-by-layer di fibrille nanocellulose e lignina isolati assemblato da sospensioni acquose diluite. Tecniche di misura di superficie microbilancia al quarzo e microscopia a forza atomica stati usati per monitorare la formazione del materiale nanocomposito polimero-polimero.
