Encéphalomyélite auto-immune expérimentale (EAE) est un modèle animal établi de la sclérose en plaques. Souris C57BL / 6 sont immunisées avec la myéline oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) peptide 35-55 (MOG 35-55), entraînant une paralysie flasque ascendante causée par des cellules immunitaires auto-réactifs dans le système nerveux central.
