Adaptive deep brain stimulation (aDBS) er effektiv for Parkinsons sygdom, forbedre symptomerne og reducere strømforbruget i forhold til konventionelle dyb brain stimulation (cDBS). I aDBS vi spore en lokal felt potentiel biomarkør (beta oscillerende amplitude) i realtid og bruge denne til at styre tidspunktet for stimulation.
