L&#39;objectif principal pour le développement de TeV a été de fournir un substitut pour le remplacement de greffe autologue lorsque les navires autologues ne sont pas disponibles et de limiter les donateurs de vue de la morbidité. Par exemple, le nombre de pontages coronariens de l&#39;artère par année a dépassé 350 000 aux Etats-Unis, et la source idéale de greffons appropriés reste la gauche artère mammaire interne, descendante antérieure gauche artère coronaire et une veine saphène. Depuis de nombreuses personnes qui souffrent de maladies vasculaires peuvent ne pas avoir les artères et les veines convenables pour le remplacement de greffe autologue, le développement de TeV est ainsi devenue un champ intense de la recherche depuis des décennies 1-6. Alors que l&#39;ingénierie et l&#39;optimisation de nouveaux TeV ont subi de nombreux progrès, les rapports sur les techniques chirurgicales employées pour implanter les TeV eux n&#39;a pas été un sujet d&#39;une telle discussion intense. Plutôt, les protocoles concernant l&#39;implantation de TeV dans des modèles animaux sont largement laisséesjusqu&#39;à enquêteurs recherche. Le développement des navires de l&#39;ingénierie tissulaire (TeV) de est avancé par la capacité de TeV routinière et efficacement implant (4-5 mm de diamètre) dans un grand modèle animal. Un protocole étape par étape pour le placement inter-position de l&#39;évaluation numérique TEV et en temps réel de la TEV et les artères carotides indigènes est décrite ici.
