Syftet med denna rapport är att ge ett tillförlitligt och reproducerbart sätt för att implantat TEVS av intresse i får halspulsådern. De infödda halspulsåder av de djur som används i denna modell var 0,5-0,75 mm i tjocklek och 4,5-5 mm i ytterdiameter. Den kirurgiska tekniken som beskrivs här har varit framgångsrikt för implantering TEVS av varierande geometrier mäter 0,25-1 mm i tjocklek, 4-5 mm ytterdiameter och 4 cm i längd med stor framgång bevisar effektivt upp till 3 månader, den avsedda slutpunkte...

Det primära fokus för utvecklingen av TEVS har varit att ge en ersättning för autologa transplantat byte när autologa fartyg inte är tillgängliga och att begränsa donator sikte sjuklighet. Till exempel har antalet kranskärlsoperationer per år översteg 350.000 i USA, och den ideala källan för lämpliga transplantat förblir den vänstra inre bröstartären, vänster främre nedåtgående kransartären och saphenusvenen 1. Eftersom många personer som lider av kärlsjukdomar kanske inte har lämpliga artärer och vener för autologa transplantat ersättare, har utvecklingen av TEVS därmed blivit ett intensivt forskningsområde i årtionden 1-6. Medan teknik och optimering av nya TEVS har genomgått många framsteg, rapportering om de kirurgiska tekniker som används för att implantera TEVS själva har inte varit ett ämne för en sådan intensiv diskussion. Snarare är protokoll rörande implantation av TEVS i djurmodeller till stor del kvarupp till forskning undersökare. Följande manuskriptet visar hur du implantera TEVS genom att utnyttja en end-to-end anastomos tillvägagångssätt. Utvecklingen av vävnadstekniska Fartyg (TEVS) är avancerad med förmågan att rutinmässigt och effektivt implantat TEVS (4-5 mm i diameter) i en stor djurmodell. En steg för steg-protokoll för interpositionella placeringen av TEV och realtid digitala bedömning av TEV och nativa karotidartärema beskrivs här.
