The critical step for this protocol is positioning the mouse properly before surgery is begun. facial nerve axotomy in mice: a model to study motoneuron response to injury

Цель этого хирургического протокола является выявление лицевого нерва, который иннервирует лицевой мускулатуры, при выходе ее из stylomastoid отверстия и вырезан или раздавить его, чтобы вызвать повреждение периферического нерва.
