Tales experimentos se realizan normalmente usando etiquetas, sin embargo, las etiquetas no siempre son posibles de obtener para una proteína particular, aumentar el costo, puede perturbar los eventos están estudiando, y puede ser un inconveniente, sobre todo por el tiempo real en el sitio experimentos o punto-de- diagnósticos de atención.
