Células dendríticas plasmocitï¿½des (PDCs) são poderoso tipo I interferon (IFN-a) que produzem células que são activados em resposta a infecção ou durante as respostas inflamatórias. Infelizmente, estudo da função PDC é prejudicada pela sua baixa freqüência em órgãos linfóides, e os métodos existentes para a geração in vitro DC predominantemente favorecer a produção de CDCs sobre pDCs.
