Murine células asesinas naturales invariantes T (iNKT) son una población distinta de los linfocitos T innatas seleccionados en el timo por timocitos corticales que expresan CD1d 1,2. iNKT células expresan un receptor de células T (TCR) compuesto de una cadena invariante Vα14-Jα18 TCR se combina con cualquiera de Vß8, Vβ7 o Vβ2 TCR 3, que es capaz de reconocer endógena, así como antígenos lipídicos extranjeros en el contexto de CD1d.
