métodos de auto-administración oral operantes se utilizan comúnmente para estudiar las propiedades de refuerzo de etanol en los animales. Sin embargo, los métodos convencionales requieren la sacarina / desvanecimiento sacarosa, privación de agua y / o de formación extendida para iniciar operante de responder en ratas. En este trabajo se describe un nuevo y eficiente método para iniciar rápidamente operante de responder durante el etanol que sea conveniente para los experimentadores y no requiere privación de agua o sacarina / desvanecimiento sacarosa, eliminando así el factor de confusión potencial del uso de edulcorantes en los estudios de autoadministración operante de etanol.
