Kan brukes bakterie mechanosensitive kanaler som mechanoelectrical transdusere i biomolekylære enheter. Dråpe grensesnitt bilag (DIBS), celle-inspirerte byggesteinene til slike enheter, representerer nye plattformer å innlemme og stimulere mechanosensitive kanaler.
