이 작업은 액체 진공 인터페이스 (SALVI) 및 TOF (-SIMS), 비행 시간 형 이차 이온 질량 분석법으로 분석 시스템을 사용하여 수용액의 단백질의 생체 시츄 특성화 보여준다. 피브로넥틴 단백질 막을 SALVI 감지 영역을 형성하는 상기 실리콘 질화물 (SIN) 막 상에 고정화 하였다. 으로 ToF-SIMS 분석에서, 분석의 세 개의 모드는 높은 공간 분해능 질량 분석법, 2 차원 영상 및 깊이 프로파일 링을 포함하여 수행 하였다. 질량 스펙트럼을 양성 및 음성 모드를 모두 취득 하였다. 탈 이온수는 기준 샘플로서 분석 하였다. 우리의 결과는 물에 피브로넥틴 영화는 혼자 물에 비해 더 독특하고 강한 물 클러스터 피크를 가지고 있음을 보여준다. 아미노산 단편의 특징적인 피크는 단백질 수화으로 ToF-SIMS 스펙트럼에서 관찰 가능하다. 이러한 결과는 표면에 단백질 분자의 흡착 dynamica을 연구 할 수있는 예시에서야 처음으로 액체 환경에서 SALVI 및으로 ToF-SIMS를 사용하여.
