an orthotopic mouse model of spontaneous breast cancer metastasis

Metastase is de belangrijkste doodsoorzaak van borstkankerpatiënten. Het mechanisme dat kankercellen metastase, waaronder borstkanker metastase, is grotendeels onbekend en is een focus in kankeronderzoek. Verschillende borstkanker spontane metastase muismodellen zijn vastgesteld. Hier melden wij een vereenvoudigde procedure om orthotope getransplanteerde borstkanker primaire tumor vast te stellen en de daaruit voortvloeiende spontane metastase dat de menselijke borstkanker uitzaaiingen na te bootsen. In combinatie met de bioluminescentie levende tumor imaging Dit muismodel maakt tumorgroei en progressie kinetiek worden gecontroleerd en gekwantificeerd. In dit model, een lage dosis (1 x 10 4 cellen) of 4T1-Luc borstkankercellen werd geïnjecteerd in BALB / c muis mammair vetkussentje met een tuberculine injectiespuit.
