Zoals eerder aangetoond, 25 FTIR kan niet-invasieve detectie van de SOC van de batterij stroom PTIO. Als diagnostisch middel, FTIR bijzonder gunstig vanwege de goede bereikbaarheid, snelle respons, lage kosten, weinig plaats nodig, eenheid voor online bijmenging geen detector verzadiging, en het vermogen om structurele informatie correleren met moleculaire evolutie tijdens stroming batterijbedrijf onderzoeken. Figuur 3e toont een voorgestelde stroom batterij-apparaat te integrere...

Redox flow batterijen op te slaan energie in vloeibare elektrolyten die zijn opgenomen in de externe reservoirs en worden gepompt om de interne elektroden elektrochemische reacties te voltooien. De opgeslagen energie en kracht kan dus worden ontkoppeld leidt tot uitstekende design flexibiliteit, schaalbaarheid en modulariteit. Deze voordelen maken stroom accu&#39;s zeer geschikt voor stationaire opslag van energie toepassingen voor de integratie van schone nog intermitterende hernieuwbare energiebronnen, het verhogen van net gebruik van activa en de efficiëntie, en verbetering van de energie veerkracht en veiligheid. 1, 2, 3 Traditionele waterige stroom batterijen lijdt aan beperkte energiedichtheid, vooral door de smalle spanningsvenster water elektrolyse te vermijden. 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 Daarentegen vereist de niet-aquelende elektrolyten gebaseerd stroom batterijen worden op grote schaal voortgezet, omdat de kans op het bereiken van hoge cel spanning en hoge energiedichtheid. 9, 10 In deze inspanningen is een verscheidenheid van stroming batterijsystemen onderzocht, waaronder metaal-coördinatiecomplexen, 11, 12 volledig organische, 13, 14 redox-actieve polymeren, 15 en lithium hybride troomsystemen. 16, 17, 18, 19 Echter, het potentieel van niet-waterige stroom accu is nog niet volledig aangetoond dat als gevolg van de grote technische knelpunt van de beperkte demonstratie onder stroom batterij-relevante voorwaarden. Dit knelpunt is nauw verbonden met een aantal krachtige beperkende factoren. Eerste,de kleine oplosbaarheid van de meeste elektroactieve materialen leidt tot levering lage energiedichtheid van niet-waterige stroom cellen. Ten tweede wordt de snelheid mogelijkheid van niet-waterige stroom batterijen grotendeels beperkt door de hoge viscositeit elektrolyt en weerstand bij relevante concentraties redox. De derde factor is het gebrek aan hoogwaardige membranen. Nafion en keramische membranen vertonen lage ionische geleidbaarheid met niet-waterige elektrolyten. Poreuze scheiders hebben aangetoond fatsoenlijk flow cel prestaties, maar lijden onder een aanzienlijke zelfontlading wegens de relatief grote poriën. 14, 20 Typisch gemengde reactant elektrolyten die zowel anolyt en katholyt redox materialen (1: 1 verhouding) worden gebruikt om redox materialen crossover, die echter offert de effectieve redox concentraties, kenmerkend met de helft verminderen. 14, 21 overwinnen van de bovengenoemde bottleneck zijn verbeteringen nodig materIALS ontdekking, batterij chemie ontwerp, en de stroom cel architectuur om de batterij-relevante fietsen te bereiken. Batterijstatus controle is essentieel belang voor een betrouwbare bedrijfsvoering. Off-normale omstandigheden waaronder overbelasting, gasontwikkeling en materiële afbraak kan schade veroorzaken aan de prestaties van de batterij en zelfs uitval van de accu. Vooral voor grootschalige stroom accu&#39;s waarbij grote hoeveelheden van de batterij materialen, kunnen deze factoren ernstige veiligheidsproblemen en investeringen veroorzaken. Laadtoestand (SOC) het beschrijven van de diepte van de lading of lozing van stroom accu&#39;s is een van de belangrijkste batterijstatus parameters. Tijdige SOC controle kunnen potentiële risico&#39;s op te sporen voordat ze bedreigend niveaus te bereiken. Dit lijkt echter gebied worden reeds tijdens geadresseerde, met name in niet-waterige stroom batterijen. Spectrophotoscopic methoden zoals ultraviolet-zichtbare (UV-vis) spectroscopie en elektrolyt geleidbaarheidsmetingen zijn geëvalueerd in een waterige stroom batte<html> ry voor SOC bepalen. 22, 23, 24 We hebben onlangs een nieuw symmetrische niet-waterige stroom batterij ontwerp gebaseerd op een nieuwe ambipolaire redoxmateriaal, 2-fenyl-4,4,5,5-tetramethylimidazoline-1-oxyl-3-oxide (PTIO). 25 Deze stroom batterij houdt de belofte aan de bovengenoemde uitdagingen van de niet-waterige stroom accu&#39;s aan te pakken. Eerst PTIO een hoge oplosbaarheid (2,6 M) in de batterij oplosmiddel acetonitril (MeCN), die belooft een hoge energiedichtheid mogelijk. Anderzijds PTIO vertoont twee reversibele redoxparen die matig worden gescheiden en kan dus een symmetrische batterijchemie vormen zelf. We hebben ook aangetoond dat een onderscheiden PTIO piek in de FTIR spectra kunnen worden gecorreleerd met de concentratie van ongereageerde PTIO in de stroomcel, die leidt tot de bepaling van de SOC spectroscopische, cross-gevalideerd door ESR resultaten.lass = &quot;xref&quot;&gt; 26 Hier presenteren we een protocol om de procedures voor elektrochemische evaluaties en FTIR-gebaseerde SOC diagnose van de PTIO symmetrische stroom batterij werken. Deze werkzaamheden zullen meer inzichten leiden bij het handhaven van de veiligheid en betrouwbaarheid tijdens langdurige flow accu zijn, met name in realistische raster toepassingen.

Redox flow batterijen zijn beschouwd als een van de meest veelbelovende stationaire opslag van energie-oplossingen voor het verbeteren van de betrouwbaarheid van het elektriciteitsnet en de inzet van hernieuwbare energietechnologieën. Onder de vele stroom batterijsystemen, niet-waterige stroom batterijen hebben het potentieel om hoge energiedichtheid te bereiken vanwege de brede ramen spanning van niet-waterige elektrolyten. Echter, belangrijke technische hindernissen bestaan momenteel het beperken van niet-waterige stroom accu&#39;s om hun volledige potentieel, zoals een lage redox concentraties, lage operationele stromen, onder-verkend batterijstatus monitoring, enz. In een poging om deze beperkingen aan te pakken aan te tonen, hebben we onlangs melding gemaakt van een niet-waterige stroom batterij op basis van een sterk oplosbare, redox-actieve organische nitronyl nitroxideradicaal verbinding, 2-fenyl-4,4,5,5-tetramethylimidazoline-1-oxyl-3-oxide (PTIO). Deze redox materiaal vertoont een ambipolaire elektrochemische eigendom, en kan daarom als zowel anolyt te dienene en katholyt redox materialen om een ​​symmetrische stroming batterijchemie vormen. Bovendien hebben we aangetoond dat Fourier transform infrarood (FTIR) spectroscopie kon de PTIO concentraties te meten tijdens de PTIO stroom batterij fietsen en bieden een redelijk nauwkeurige detectie van de batterij laadtoestand (SOC), cross-gevalideerd door electron spin resonantie (ESR) metingen . Hierin presenteren we een video-protocol voor de elektrochemische evaluatie en SOC diagnose van de PTIO symmetrische stroom batterij. Een gedetailleerde beschrijving, proefondervindelijk aangetoond dat de route voor deze doeleinden te bereiken. Dit protocol is bedoeld om meer belangen en inzichten over de veiligheid en betrouwbaarheid op het gebied van niet-waterige redox flow batterijen vonk.

De unieke voordelen van de symmetrische stroming PTIO batterijsysteem zijn zeer toegeschreven aan de elektrochemische eigenschappen van PTIO, een organische radicaal nitroxide verbinding. PTIO kunnen elektrochemische disproportioneringsreacties ondergaan onder vorming PTIO + en PTIO - (Figuur 2a).
