analyzing synaptic modulation of drosophila melanogaster photoreceptors after exposure to prolonged light

מערכת העצבים יש את היכולת המדהימה להסתגל ולהגיב לגירויים שונים. התאמה עצבית זו מושגת בעיקר באמצעות פלסטיות ברמה הסינפטי. האיזור הפעיל (AZ) הוא האזור על הממברנה presynaptic שמתווך שחרור הנוירוטרנסמיטר והוא מורכב מאוסף צפוף של חלבוני פיגום.
