microfluidic platform with multiplexed electronic detection for spatial tracking of particles

Microfluïdische verwerking van biologische monsters meestal gaat differentiële manipulaties van zwevende deeltjes onder verschillende krachtvelden om ruimtelijk fractioneren van het monster op basis van een biologische eigenschap van belang. Voor de resulterende ruimtelijke verdeling worden gebruikt als assay uitlezing worden microfluïdische inrichtingen vaak microscopisch onderzoek vereisen complexe instrumentatie met hogere kosten en lagere draagbaarheid. Om deze beperking te pakken, hebben we een geïntegreerd elektronisch sensortechnologie ontwikkeld voor gemultiplexte detectie van deeltjes op verschillende locaties op een microfluïdische chip. Onze techniek, genaamd microfluïdische CODES combineert resistief Pulse Sensing met Code Division Multiple Access 2D ruimtelijke informatie te comprimeren tot een 1D elektrisch signaal. In deze paper presenteren we een praktische demonstratie van de microfluïdische CODES technologie op te sporen en de omvang gekweekte kankercellen verdeeld over meerdere microfluïdische kanalen. Alsgevalideerd door de snelle microscopie, het technology nauwkeurig analyseren dichte celpopulaties alle elektronisch zonder de noodzaak van een extern instrument. Als zodanig kunnen de microfluïdische CODES bijdragen dat goedkope geïntegreerde lab-on-a-chip apparaten die zijn zeer geschikt voor de point-of-care tests van biologische monsters.
