microfluidic platform with multiplexed electronic detection for spatial tracking of particles

Mikrofluidik-Verarbeitung von biologischen Proben umfasst in der Regel Differential Manipulationen von Schwebeteilchen unter verschiedenen Kraftfelder, um die Probe zu räumlich fraktionieren basierend auf einer biologischen Eigenschaft von Interesse. Für die sich ergebende räumliche Verteilung als Assay Auslesung verwendet werden, sind mikrofluidische Vorrichtungen oft mikroskopische Analyse unterzogen erfordern komplexe Instrumentierung mit höheren Kosten und reduziert Portabilität. Um diese Beschränkung zu begegnen, haben wir eine integrierte elektronische Sensortechnologie für gemultiplexte Detektion von Partikeln an unterschiedlichen Stellen auf einem mikrofluidischen Chip entwickelt. Unsere Technologie, Mikrofluidik-CODES genannt, kombiniert Resistive Pulse Sensing mit Code Division Multiple Access 2D räumliche Informationen in ein 1D elektrisches Signal zu komprimieren. In diesem Beitrag stellen wir eine praktische Demonstration der Mikrofluidik-CODES Technologie mehrere mikrofluidischen Kanälen zu erkennen und kultivierten Krebszellen Größe verteilt. Wiedurch die High-Speed-Mikroskopie validiert, kann unsere Technologie genau analysieren dichte Zellpopulationen alle elektronisch, ohne die Notwendigkeit für ein externes Gerät. Als solche können die Mikrofluidik-CODES potenziell Low-Cost-integrierten Lab-on-a-Chip-Geräte ermöglichen, die für den Point-of-Care-Tests von biologischen Proben geeignet sind.
