Para estudar a progressão do tumor do ovário num modelo fisiologicamente relevante, esferóides multicelulares foram cultivadas num microdispositivo sob fluxo de fluido simulado. Este modelo 3D dinâmica emula o ambiente intraperitoneal com os componentes celulares e mecânicas onde ocorre a metástase do cancro do ovário.
