I Ptf1acre / +; LSL-KrasG12D / + musmodell, de Kristen råtta sarkom (K-Ras) onkogen aktiveras uteslutande i bukspottkörteln, vilket resulterar i inledandet av precancerösa lesioner i bukspottkörteln kallas pankreascancer intraepitelial neoplasias (PanINs), att framsteg att pankreas duktal adenokarcinom, vanligen kallad PDACs3. Målet för våra studier är att identifiera nya metaboliska biomarkörer för pankreascancer progression. Vi har utfört metabolisk profilering av urin, avföring, blod, och bukspottkörteln vävnad extrakt, samt histologiska analyser av bukspottkörteln att stadium cancer progression.
