Delvis og midlertidige undertrykkelse av action potentials av nevropatisk nerver fra diabetiker rotter i vivo og umiddelbar forekomsten av blokkerer effekten etter HIFU behandling begge ble observert. Muntlig medisiner, akupunktur1og elektrisk nerve stimulering2 har vært brukt til behandling av smertefulle diabetiker Polynevropati. Imidlertid hemme bivirkninger av de muntlige medisiner, invasiv drift av akupunktur, og elektrisk nervestimulering den terapeutiske effekten og pasients tilslutning. Ultralyd blokk av eksterne nerver i dyremodeller har blitt undersøkt for tiår3,4,5. Gjennomføring av i vitro sciatic nerver av store grønne frosken ble hemmet reversibel etter behandling av 10-20 pulser av ultralyd eksponering for 0.4 - 1.0 s6. En faktor å blokkere nerve ledning er temperaturen stige av ultralyd7. For pasienter med Polynevropati, ble undertrykkelse av sammensatte muskel handling potensialer (CMAPs) utført i peroneal nerve utsatt for lav intensitet ultralyd for 2 min8. Nylig, Food and Drug Administration i USA godkjent HIFU som en ikke-invasiv behandling for livmor fibroid svulster9, smerte palliations av bein metastaser10og prostatakreft11. Foruten smertestillende programmer, kan HIFU brukes som et verktøy for å undersøke relative bidrag perifere og sentrale komponenter til nerve ledning blokaden for grunnleggende forskning i Nevrologi og utvikling av smerte medisinering. Derfor er en HIFU blokkering teknologiplattform gjelder perifer nerver i dyremodeller nødvendig. Formålet med denne artikkelen er å vise prosedyrer helt eller delvis blokkerer handling mulighetene for eksterne nerver i diabetiker nevropatisk rotter ved HIFU. Diabetiker rotte modeller og evaluering av eksterne nevropatisk symptomer ble etablert. En HIFU plattform og eksperimentelle prosesser bestemt for behandling av rotte sciatic nerver presenteres.

Nerve ledning blokk med en høy intensitet-fokusert ultralyd (HIFU) svinger er utført i normal og diabetiker dyremodeller nylig. HIFU kan reversibel blokkere gjennomføring av eksterne nerver uten å skade nerver mens du bruker en passende ultralyd parameter. Midlertidig og delvis blokk med handlingen potensialet av nerver viser at HIFU har potensial til å være nyttig klinisk behandling for smertelindring. Dette arbeidet beskriver prosedyrene for å undertrykke handling potensialet av nevropatisk nerver i diabetiker rotter i vivo med en HIFU svinger. I vivo studien viste at med en HIFU dose av 3 s sonication på en intensitet av 2810 M/cm2, CMAPs ble undertrykket av 20% av opprinnelig, men de ble fullstendig gjenopprettet etter 30 min (figur 2A, diamanter) og var nesten konstant i løpet av 28 dager (figur 2B, diamanter). 5 s HIFU eksponering på samme intensitet, CMAPs redusert til 65.4% (9.5%) av opprinnelig plan 4 minutter og gjenopprettet til 73.7% (12...
