1. 起動手順

このプロジェクトの全体的な目標は、環境室で有機的な特定の物質を生成し、その化学的および物理的特性を特徴付ける。ハーバード環境室は、有機粒子状物質の形成と周囲条件に近いガス相成分の反応を研究するために建設されました。これは、部屋の操作の10周年です。この部屋の独特な部分は、それが日を越えて定常状態の操作を行う機会を提供する完全に混合流れ原子炉として作動されるである。安定状態の動作を確実にするために、チャンバは重要なチャンバパラメータを制御し、それらを安定に保つためにフィードバックシステムを使用しています。ガスと粒子相種の濃度が無期限に安定しているため、終了に数日を要する様々なオンラインおよびオフライン測定を行うことができます。ハーバード環境室は、3つの部分で構成されています。最初の部分は、世代の種子領域と揮発性有機化合物生成システムです。第二の部分は環境室自体であり、第三の部分はこのシステムを分析する器械である。シード粒子を使用して、ハーバード環境室での反応において、粒子相有機材料の安定した生成を可能にする重要な技術である。具体的には、無機塩を種粒子として選択し、反応で有機材料でコーティングします。後に有機物のデータ解析を行い、無機塩を選ぶため、種粒子からの干渉を最小限に抑えることができます。私たちの研究室でここで使用する楽器の1つは、飛行エアロゾル質量分析計の高解像度時間、または短いAMSです。Aerodyne Researchによってメルシーにされた楽器で、今日ではエアクラフトの展開を含む実験室とフィールドスタディの両方で広く使用されています。AMSは非耐火粒子化学組成のリアルタイム測定を提供し、飛行の粒子時間を測定することによって粒子サイズに関する情報を提供するモードで操作することもできます。そのため、質量スペクトルから化学組成の大きさと情報を組み合わせることで、測定されたイオンの質量アイオノマー分布を得ることができます。それらは主要な測定された環境変数はオゾン、NOおよびNO2、相対湿度、温度および袋および部屋間の差圧を含んでいる。フィードバックシステムにより環境室の物理的パラメータを設定します。差圧を4パスカルまたは30ミニトールに設定します。オゾン発生器をオンにして、紫外線ランプを通して乾燥した空気を通してオゾンフローを発生させます。流量を1分あたり0.1標準リットルに設定します。バッグの相対湿度を指定値に設定します。チャンバーの温度を25プラスマイナス0.1°Cに設定します。機器の入口を環境室に接続します。[スタート]ボタンをクリックして、自己開発ソフトウェアを起動します。フィードバック制御を統合した自己開発ソフトウェアに表示されるリアルタイムデータを確認します。すべての楽器をオンにし、完全にウォームアップするのを待ちます。硫酸アンモニウムを100ミリリットルの体積ガラスに高純度水で溶解し、硫酸アンモニウム溶液を調製する。アトマイザーを使用して、1分間に3つの標準リットルの流量で硫酸アンモニウム粒子を生成します。拡散ドライヤーを通してエアロゾルの流れを通して、相対湿度を10%まで下げて、バイポーラ充電器と差動移動アナライザを通してエアロゾルの流れを通過させ、粒子のサイズを選択し、電動モビリティによる準単分拡散分布を準備します。シリンジを使用して、1ミリリットルのイソプレン溶液を引き出します。最終的な撤退の前に溶液で注射器を3回すすいでください。注射器を注射器に入れる。ゴムシールを通して針先を丸底フラスコに挿入します。テープを加熱してフラスコを90プラスマイナス1度に予熱します。注射器の注入をオンにして、適切な値に設定します。前駆体の気相濃度は、シリンジ注入速度を制御することにより、異なる実験のために調整される。長い実験の場合は、必要に応じて注射器をリフレッシュしてください。精製空気の1分間に2つの標準リットルの流れを導入して気化し、丸底フラスコに注入されたイソプレンを運び去る。空気の流れは、シリンジの先端のセスシル液滴がフラスコに滴り落ちるのではなく気化するほど大きい。イソプレンとUV光の組み合わせは、二次有機材料の生産につながります。エアロゾル測定ソフトウェアを起動し、[新しいファイルを作成]をクリックして新しいファイルを作成します。各パラメーターは、図のように設定されます。[OK]ボタンをクリックして、バッグから出るパーティクルの直径分布の数を記録します。飛行エアロゾル質量分析計の高解像度時間を使用してエアロゾルの流れを測定します。パネルの左下にある取得ボタンを押して、データ取得ソフトウェアを起動します。有機PMの高分解能質量スペクトルは、実験の時間経過中に記録される。また、全有機質量濃度も得られる。PTFEテフロンチューブのサンプリング値を袋の中に開きます。サンプリングされた流れは、飛行質量分析計のプロトン移動反応時間にガイドされる。このビデオでは、飛行質量分析計のプロトン転写反応時間のイオン源のパラメータ設定を示す。ソフトウェアの上部デッキにあるドロップダウンメニュー「取得」にアクセスし、Start キーを押して、データ収集を開始します。このソフトウェアを介して各イオンの時系列を記録します。気相前駆体およびエアロゾルシード粒子の注入を停止します。数日間、袋に毎分40リットルで純粋な空気を継続的に注入します。すべての紫外線を点灯します。オゾン濃度を10億分の600に設定し、温度を摂氏40度に設定します。このようにして、積極的な酸化環境を数日間保持して袋をスクラブする。エアロゾル質量分析計から取得したデータを記録し、処理します。実験条件は490 PPBのイソプレンで、紫外線がオンになり、OHラジカルを酸化剤として提供する。二次有機材料の質量濃度は実験の開始時に増加し、約4時間後に安定した状態に達した。このプロットは、環境チャンバーがガス前駆体からSOMを生成できることを示唆している。チャンバ内のガス相有機化合物の進化はPTRTOFMSを用いて研究することができる。イソプレン写真酸化に関する実験例を、約16PPBのイソプレンをチャンバーに連続的に入れて行った。図は、PTRTOFMSによって測定されたイソプレンの主要な酸化産物のC4H6O+イオンの時系列を示しています。実験の開始時には、チャンバー内に紫外線はありませんでした。約8分で、紫外線が点灯し、C4H8O+イオンの上昇の明確な傾向がありました。約50分後、反応は定常状態に達する。実験室の室研究は、エアロゾル科学の分野、またはより広く大気科学の分野で本当に重要であり、それは私たちが大気中で起こる複雑な化学的および物理的現象を制御された方法でシミュレートし、調査することを可能にするからです。チャンバード研究は、世界的に粒子状物質の支配的な成分であるSOAなどの二次有機エアロゾルの形成と進化に関する我々の理解を深めるのに大いに役立っています。そこで、これらのチャンバー研究から得られたデータは、SOAに関する質問を見て、化学メカニズムの開発を導くために使用され、またモデルにおけるSOA形成および進化のためのパラメータ化にも使用されてきた。
