Sensibilisatie aan gras pollen legt een wereldwijd risico op allergische luchtwegziekten op. Hoewel preventie afhankelijk is van lokaal onderzoek van de pollenallergene, zijn gegevens over dit onderwerp beperkt in Zuid-China. Eventuele beschikbare gegevens werden verkregen door middel van zelfrapporten vragenlijsten, huidprikproeven en totale of specifieke IgE-tests met behulp van ruwe extracten. Om vele redenen zijn deze methoden onbetrouwbaar. Serum zieke reactiviteit tegen Bermuda gras, Timothy gras en Humulus scandens allergenen in een cohort van patiënten uit Greater Guangzhou (zuidelijke China&#39;s grootste stad en haar buitenwijken) met allergische rhinitis en / of astma werden onderzocht met behulp van een volledig geautomatiseerde immunoassay analysator als een component -resolved diagnostics (CRD) tool. Voor de eerste keer werd een aanzienlijk hoge prevalentie van Bermuda grass sIgE positiviteit aangetoond in Chinese zuiders met allergische rhinitis en / of astma. Bij deze patiënten is een subtiele prevalentie van sensibilisatieNaar Timothy gras en Humulus scandens werd ook genoteerd, die kan voortvloeien uit cross-reactiviteit, aangezien de laatste twee niet in de regio gebruikelijk zijn. Dit werd ook ondersteund door de detectie van allergeencomponenten. Volledig geautomatiseerde immunoassayanalysatoren kunnen over de tijd bevredigende consistentie bieden tussen regio&#39;s, laboratoria en instellingen. De automatisering van het instrument kan een gestandaardiseerde detectie mogelijk maken die niet voor de komst van CRD gemakkelijk zou zijn geopenbaard. Dit is een studie die gebruik maakt van een CRD-benadering om sensibilisatie te onderzoeken naar grass pollen allergenen in Zuid-China. Het voegt toe aan actueel bewijs in de literatuur. Toekomstige studies zijn nodig om deze bevindingen te valideren. Hoewel CRD een nuttig hulpmiddel is, moeten de bevindingen die zijn gemaakt met de volledig geautomatiseerde immunoanalysator niet vervangen worden door andere laboratoriumonderzoeken, klinische evaluaties en deskundigheid van de arts.

De volledig geautomatiseerde immunoassayanalysator die in dit onderzoek wordt gebruikt, heeft een vaste fase structuur bedekt met covalente koppeling allergenen of allergeen componenten die reageren met de belangenmoleculen (sIgE) in serummonsters van de patiënt. Met een automatisch programma wast de analysator alle niet-specifieke IgE&#39;s af met 150 μL spoeloplossing en herhaalt dit 5 keer.
