Fullautomatiserade immunanalysatorer kan erbjuda tillfredsställande konsistens mellan regioner, laboratorier och institutioner och över tiden. Gräs pollen står för nästan 50% av immunoglobulin E (IgE) -relaterade allergier och orsakar på grund av sin luftburna natur en global risk för allergiska luftvägssjukdomar, särskilt astma och allergisk rinit 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 . Förebyggande av gräs pollenallergier i en region är beroende av information om lokalfördelningen av pollenallergenerna. Tyvärr varierar spektrumet hos de sensibiliserande allergenerna från plats till plats-en observation som allmänt kallas regional specificitet. Många av dessa coMponents är inerta, men ibland kan vissa leda till störningar av positiva reaktioner. Användningen av rekombinanta eller renade allergenmolekyler i CRD kan kringgå detta och ger därför bättre testnoggrannhet. När det behandlas i mikroarrays, skärmar en CRD-metod snabbt eller identifierar sensibilisering till hundratals allergenmolekyler i enskilda ämnen. En väl utformad CRD-studie om gräns pollen sensibilisering i södra Kina saknas för närvarande. Helst bör en sådan studie innefatta en lokal befolkning med stor geografisk täckning, redogöra för gräspollen som vanligtvis rapporteras i Kina och ta itu med de tekniska aspekter som nämns ovan. För att nå en praktisk nivå av klinisk relevans och för att underlätta rekryteringen av serumprover kan även tidig undersökning av sensibilisering mot gräs pollen som inhalationsallergener vara inriktad på patienter med allergiska respiratoriska störningar, snarare än hos den allmänna befolkningen. I det här arbetet beskrivs en metodAnvänds för att testa serum-reaktivitet mot Bermuda-gräs, Timothy-gräs och Humulus- skandon hos patienter från Greater Guangzhou (södra Kinas största stad och dess utkanter) med allergisk rinit och / eller astma med hjälp av CRD-metoden 5 . a component-resolved diagnostic approach for a study on grass pollen allergens in chinese southerners with allergic rhinitis and/or asthma

Sensibilisering till gräs pollen innebär en global risk för allergiska luftvägssjukdomar. Trots att förebyggandet är beroende av lokal undersökning av pollenallergenerna är data om detta ämne begränsat i södra Kina. Eventuell tillgänglig data erhölls genom självrapporterade frågeformulär, hudprickprov och totalt eller specifikt IgE-test med hjälp av råa extrakt. Av många anledningar är dessa metoder opålitliga. Serum sIgE reaktivitet mot Bermuda gräs, Timothy gräs och Humulus skandensallergener i en kohort av patienter från Greater Guangzhou (södra Kinas största stad och dess utkanter) med allergisk rinit och / eller astma undersöktes med hjälp av en helautomatiserad immunanalysanalysator som en komponent -lösta diagnostikverktyget (CRD). För första gången visades en betydande hög prevalens av Bermuda gräs sIgE positivitet hos kinesiska sydstäder med allergisk rinit och / eller astma. I dessa patienter är en subtil förekomst av sensibiliseringTill Timothy gräs och Humulus skandaler noterades också, vilket kan uppstå genom korsreaktivitet, eftersom de senare två inte är vanliga i regionen. Detta stöddes också av detektering av allergenkomponenter. Fullautomatiserade immunanalysatorer kan erbjuda tillfredsställande konsistens mellan regioner, laboratorier och institutioner och över tiden. Instrumentets automatik kan möjliggöra en standardiserad detektering som inte lätt skulle ha avslöjats före CRDs framkomst. Detta är en studie som använder en CRD-metod för att undersöka sensibilisering mot gräs pollenallergener i södra Kina. Det lägger till aktuella bevis i litteraturen. Framtida studier behövs för att validera dessa resultat. Även om CRD är ett användbart verktyg, bör resultaten som gjorts med den helautomatiska immunanalysanalysatorn inte ersätta andra laboratorieundersökningar, kliniska utvärderingar och läkarkompetens.

Den helautomatiserade immunanalysanalysatorn som användes i denna studie har en fastfasstruktur som är täckt med kovalent kopplingsallergener eller allergenkomponenter som reagerar med intressanta molekyler (sIgE) i serumprover från patienten.
