Paracrine 신호를 통한 혈관 기능의 주요 조절자인 Perivascular Adipose Tissue (PVAT)의 확장은 비만 동안 고혈압 발생과 직접적으로 관련이 있습니다. 비대 및 증식의 정도는 저장소 위치, 성별 및 존재하는 지방 세포 전구 세포 (Adipocyte Progenitor Cell, APC) 표현형의 유형에 달려 있습니다. 지난 10 년 동안 APC와 전 지방 세포 분리에 사용 된 기술은 특정 세포 표면 마커를 기반으로 개별 세포를 식별 할 수있는 정확성을 획기적으로 향상 시켰습니다. 그러나 APC와 지방 세포의 분리는 세포의 취약성으로 인해 어려움이 될 수 있습니다. 특히 손상되지 않은 세포가 세포 배양에 사용되어야하는 경우 특히 그렇습니다.
