Aqui nós descrevemos um método comum para induzir lesão hepática crônica em ratos, alimentando-se de uma dieta deficiente em colina e ethionine-complementado do (CDE). Demonstramos que o monitoramento de integridade, perfusão hepática, isolamento e preservação. Um curso de tempo de seis semanas pode informar sobre a lesão hepática, pathohistology, fibrose, inflamatória e respostas de células progenitoras de fígado.
