El paso más crítico en el protocolo es la mono-alkylphosphinic ácido síntesis (figura 1a). En esta reacción, un mayor rendimiento y menos subproducto ácido dialkylphosphinic es mejor. Aumento de la fracción molar de NaH2PO2/olefin A mejorar el rendimiento e inhiben la generación de subproducto ácido dialkylphosphinic. Solventes de extracción ácidos organofosforados son ampliamente utilizados en el campo de la Hidrometalurgia tradicional para la extracción y separación de los iones de tierra rara1,2, metales no ferrosos (como Co/Ni3,4), metales raros ( como Hf/Zr5, V6,7), actínidos8, etcetera. En los últimos años también ha atraído más atención en los campos de recursos secundaria reciclaje y eliminación de residuos líquido alto nivel9. Di-(2-ethylhexyl) (D2EHPA o P204), 2-ethylhexylphosphoric ácido mono-2-etilhexil éster del ácido fosfórico (EHEHPA, PC 88A o P507) y Di-(2,4, 4'-trimethylpentyl)-ácido phosphinic (Cyanex272), que son representantes de ácidos dialkylphosphoric, ésteres ácidos de mono-alquil alkylphosphoric y dialkylphosphinic ácidos respectivamente, son los solventes de extracción más comúnmente utilizados. Su acidez disminuye en el siguiente orden: P204 &#62; P507 &#62; Cyanex 272. La correspondiente capacidad de extracción capacidad de extracción y desmontaje de la acidez son todo orden P204 &#62; P507 &#62; Cyanex 272 y el rendimiento de la separación es en orden inverso. Estos tres solventes de extracción son eficaces en la mayoría de los casos. Sin embargo, todavía hay algunas condiciones que no son tan eficientes: en la separación de tierras raras pesadas, de los cuales los principales problemas existentes son la pobre selectividad y alta acidez desmontaje P204 y P507, baja capacidad de extracción y la tendencia de la emulsión durante la extracción para el Cyanex 272. Así, el desarrollo de nuevos extrayentes ha dibujado más atención en los últimos años.
La clase de solventes de extracción ácido dialkylphosphinic es considerada uno de los aspectos más importantes de la investigación para desarrollar nuevos extrayentes. Recientes investigaciones demostraron que la capacidad de extracción de ácidos dialkylphosphinic depende en gran medida de la estructura del alkyl sustituto10,11. Puede ser una amplia gama de significativamente más alto que el de P507 a menor que la de Cyanex 27212. Sin embargo, la exploración de solventes de extracción ácido dialkylphosphinic novela se limita a la olefina comercial estructura10,12,13,14,15, 16. Aunque extrayentes ácido dialkylphosphinic también pueden ser sintetizados por el método de la reacción de Grignard, las condiciones de reacción son rigurosos12,17.
NSDAPA, de los cuales los dos alkyls son diferentes, abre una puerta a la exploración de nuevos solventes de extracción. Hace que las estructuras del ácido dialkylphosphinic más diversos, y su rendimiento de extracción y separación se puede optimizada mediante la modificación de sus estructuras de alquil. El método sintético tradicional de NSDAPA utiliza PH3 como fuente de fósforo, que tiene muchos inconvenientes como alta toxicidad, las condiciones de reacción rigurosa y difícil purificación. Recientemente informó de un nuevo método para sintetizar NSDAPA con Hipofosfito de sodio como un fósforo de la fuente (ver figura 1) y sintetizado con éxito tres NSDAPAs18. Este protocolo detallado puede ayudar a los nuevos practicantes repetir los experimentos y dominar el método sintético de solventes de extracción NSDAPA. Tomamos (2, 3-dimethylbutyl) (2,4, 4'-trimethylpentyl) ácido phosphinic como ejemplo. En la tabla 1se muestran los nombres y estructuras de olefina A, el ácido mono-alkylphosphinic intermedio, olefina B y el NSDAPA correspondiente.

synthesis of high purity nonsymmetric dialkylphosphinic acid extractants

Presentamos la síntesis de (2, 3-dimethylbutyl) (2,4, 4'-trimethylpentyl) ácido phosphinic como ejemplo para demostrar un método para la síntesis de solventes de extracción ácido alta pureza el dialkylphosphinic. Hipofosfito de sodio tóxicos bajo fue elegido como la fuente de fósforo al reaccionar con olefina un (2,3-Dimetil-1-buteno) para generar un monoalkylphosphinic ácido intermedio. La amantadina fue adoptada para eliminar el subproducto ácido de dialkylphosphinic, como sólo el ácido monoalkylphosphinic puede reaccionar con amantadina para formar una sal del ácido amantadine∙mono-alkylphosphinic, mientras que el ácido dialkylphosphinic puede reaccionar con amantadina debido a su gran impedimento estérico. El ácido monoalkylphosphinic purificado entonces fue reaccionado con olefina B (diisobutylene) para dialkylphosphinic el ácido (NSDAPA). El ácido monoalkylphosphinic se puede quitar fácilmente por un simple post-tratamiento base-acido y otras impurezas orgánicas pueden ser separadas hacia fuera a través de la precipitación de la sal de cobalto. La estructura de la (2, 3-dimethylbutyl) (2,4, 4'-trimethylpentyl) ácido phosphinic fue confirmado por RMN de 31P, 1H NMR, ESI-MS y FT-IR. La pureza se determinó por un método de valoración potenciométrica, y los resultados indican que la pureza puede superar el 96%.
