化合物の 4 と 5 の分光特性の違いは、電子供与性アミン単位にあります。もう一方はフェノチアジン グループ ユニット周辺のアルキル化カルバゾール化合物の 1 つあります。フェノチアジン系分子を化学のベンダーから購入し、改変することがなく使用できます。しかし、化合物 4 t-ブチル グループの場合有機溶媒中での溶解性を高めるためにカルバゾール ユニットの芳香環に導入する必要があります。それは適切なアルキル基がない場合は、製品の溶解度が落ちるという、有意に低い反応収率の結果が報告されました。24求電子芳香族置換機構に基づくニトロメタン塩化 tert-ブチルと 9-H-カルバゾール塩化亜鉛 (II) の存在下でフリーデル ・ クラフツ反応を使用して各フェニル環にアルキル基を導入できます。結果として得られる製品の純度は十分に高いではない、いくつかの副産物がある混合物; それ発見された19そのため原油の灰色の粉は白い粉として回収化合物 1 の 13.1 g の分離の結果カラムクロマトグラフィーによりさらに浄化されなければなりません。
前述の文献のプロシージャを使用してパラジウム触媒炭素窒素クロス カップリング反応を介して希望 TADF エミッタ 4 と 5 を合成しました。22,23出発物質の量を増やすことが悪影響がわかった反応スケールにさらに増加が可能なことを示唆して、希望する製品の収量に影響を与えます。4 と 5 は化合物にすることができますそれぞれ 63% と 55% の収率で得られました。
結論としては、発光アプリケーションの全体合成手順をスケール アップする可能性のある、容易に入手可能な材料からの非常に効率的な有機分子を準備する方法の詳細なガイドラインが示されています。この作品を通して意図は、他の多くの TADF エミッタの大規模合成が産業利用研究室ベンチから技術の高速変遷を保証することです。

scale-up chemical synthesis of thermally-activated delayed fluorescence emitters based on the dibenzothiophene-s,s-dioxide core
