Aqui, descrevemos um protocolo eficaz que combina catálise de Ni/Ir photoredox com o uso de um alcóxido-Zn para polimerização eficiente de anel de abertura, permitindo a síntese de poli isotactic (α-hidroxi ácidos), com esperada pesos moleculares (> 140 kDa) e distribuições de peso molecular mais estreitas (Mw/Mn < 1.1).
