מקור פוטנציאלי של תרכובות חדשות פטריות הם פפטידים מיקרוביאלית (אמפר), קטן פפטידים cationic המיוצר על ידי אורגניזמים רבים כחלק שלהם תגובה חיסונית מולדת זיהום4. למרות זאת, שיטת ההקרנה כדי לבדוק את המשחות נגד פתוגנים ופטריות אינה אחידה. הליכים שונים שימשו כדי להעריך את הפעילות פטרת של אמפר, לפעמים על אותו מודל מיקרואורגניזם5,6,7. הבדלים אלה וחוסר פרט פרוטוקולים מסוימים לסבך השוואות בין הפארמצבטית תרכובות ואת הסלים.
