Den metode, der præsenteres her er designet til at konstruere og validere en in vitro- 3D-model i stand til at måle kraft genereres af systemet ved forskellige archwires med V-bøjninger placeret mellem to beslag. Yderligere mål er at sammenligne denne kraft system med forskellige typer af archwires og til tidligere modeller.
