Ortodontik tel Sınayıcısı (şey) Biyomühendislik & Biyodinamik laboratuvar, UConn sağlık, Farmington, CT, ABD (Şekil 3) ile işbirliği içinde Ortodonti bölümü tarafından geliştirilen yenilikçi bir üründür. Bu doğru bir şekilde süre alan tüm üç uçak içinde oluşturulan kuvvet sistemi ölçümleri sağlayan üst dişler ağız ve ağız içi bazı koşullar içinde düzenlenmesi taklit etmek için tasarlanmıştır. Bunlar bir yazılım programına bağlıdır. Yazılım bir platform ve görsel programlama için geliştirme ortamı ve farklı donanım türlerini denetlemek için kullanılır. Ortodontik tel test otomatikleştirmek için seçildi.
Alüminyum mandal bir dizi üst diş Arch diş temsil etmek için test cihazları üzerinde düzenlenir. İki tam orta kesici ve doğru ilk azı temsil eden mandal sensörler/yük hücreleri (S1 ve S2) bağlanır. Yük hücresi kuvvetler ve tüm üç uçak (x-y-z) içinde uygulanmış anlar ölçen mekanik bir aygıttır: Fx, Fyve Fz; ve Mx, Myve Mz. Mandal sistematik bir diş kemer form oluşturmak için konumlandırılmış.
