combining microfluidics and microrheology to determine rheological properties of soft matter during repeated phase transitions

ソフトマターの微細構造は直接巨視的物性に影響を与えると前の段階の変更時にコロイドの転位を含む要因によって変更することができます、せん断を適用しました。これらの変更の範囲を決定するためのサンプルにせん断を抑えながら周囲流体と microrheological 特性の交換による相転移を有効に繰り返しマイクロ流体デバイスを開発しました。この手法は、μ2レオロジー、マイクロ流体システムとレオロジーの組み合わせです。マイクロ流体デバイス、2 層設計対称入口ストリーム流体交換中に場所にゲルのサンプルをトラップするサンプル室に入る。吸引は、サンプル室に流体をプルする試料室から遠くに適用できます。レオロジー (MPT) の追跡複数の粒子を用いた材料のレオロジー特性が特徴です。郵政省、蛍光プローブ粒子が材料に埋め込まれているされビデオ顕微鏡を用いたプローブのブラウン運動が記録されます。粒子の動きを追跡し、平均二乗変位 (MSD) が計算されます。MSD は、一般化されたストークス アインシュタイン関係を用いた巨視的物性に関連です。材料の相臨界緩和の指数を比較することにより識別される、時間治療の重ね合わせを使用して決定します。線維性コロイドのゲルの測定手法の有用性を示しています。このゲルは、せん断が適用される不可逆的変更できる繊細な構造を持ちます。μ2レオロジー データは、相転移が微構造変化の役割を果たしていないことを示す、各相転移後、材料繰り返し同じのレオロジー的性質にあるを示しています。せん断の役割を決定するには、サンプルは当社マイクロ流体デバイスへの注入前にせん断することができます。μ2レオロジーはソフトマターの相転移の繰り返された変更に応答中に単一サンプルの繊細な微細構造のレオロジー的性質の決定を有効にするのに広く適用可能な手法、周囲の環境条件。
