Vi præsenterer her, en protokol for at visualisere udvikle hjerter i zebrafisk i 4 dimensioner (4-D). 4-D imaging, via lys-ark Fluorescens mikroskopi (LSFM), tager 3-Dimensional (3-D) billeder over tid, at rekonstruere udvikle hjerter. Vi vise kvalitativt og kvantitativt at shear stress aktiveres endokardial Notch signalering under kammer udvikling, der fremmer hjerte trabeculation.
